(More customer reviews)I bought these sheets at a pretty good discount, but when I washed them before I put them on the bed, they released so much lint that I was concerned about them.
I have bought a lot of sheets in my lifetime and have never seen sheets release lint like this, it was very strange. I noticed it in the washer and when I dried them, I had to empty the lint filter 4 times.
There was so much lint left over that the washer was unable to remove it all in the first load.
The sheets fit well and they're semi-soft, though they don't feel like 300 TC, but I just may be spoiled because most of my sheets were 500 TC and above.
Time will tell if they continue to produce a lot of lint. I was able to shake them outside and they don't appear to be shedding with use. I would be extremely surpised if there is a lot of lint from them in the 2nd wash.
I took off one star for the lint and one for the lack of softness. 3 stars for not being too wrinkled and for the excellent fit. There is elastic all the way around the fitted sheet, which is good, too.
For the under 20 dollar price for a full set of sheets, they're okay.
