(More customer reviews)I love Egyptian cotton and we don't like to sleep on anything else. As far as the cotton goes, the sheets are okay. They're not as soft as another set of sheets we have. But the reason I bought these sheets (as opposed to any other Egyptian cotton sheets) is because they said deep pocket. They were supposed to fit mattresses up to 18". Well after the first wash I almost could not get the bed made. I had to pull and tug on the sheets in order to get them to even reach the top of the bed. And then fitting the fitted sheet around the mattress? Forget it. The top sheet sits almost 18" down from the head of the bed in order to tuck it in at the foot. I was sorely disappointed!
