(More customer reviews)I've looked for years for THE comforter set to go on my HARD to fit California King bed. Most CA King comforters just aren't big enough and come up short on the sides or the end of the bed. This is sized perfectly, giving lots of hang-over on both sides and plenty of coverage on the end and top of the mattress. The color is accurate in the picture, the shams are beautifully detailed. The Euro pillow cases are 26x26 (huge and perfectly sized for a CA King bed). The dust ruffle is beautiful (I love that it's not ruffly!) The sheets are 250 thread count which makes them nice and soft and not cheap feeling. The underside of the comforter is plain "gold" color and very soft.
100% polyester, the entire set is dry clean only, kind of a bummer, but oh well. Still worth it (I Googled how to wash Polyester and may give it a try at home...)
Here it is 8 months later and while I still stand by my original review that the bedspread is pretty, like the other commenter, mine too has come un-sewn at the seams. Hasn't been washed and we don't sleep with it (we fold it down every night and make it up again the next morning). Very disappointing. On the up-side the sheets didn't shrink on me and are still soft despite multiple washings.
